LUCINDA CAVAL has been selected as finalist for the 2007 National Latino Playwriting Award sponsored by Arizona Theatre Company.
LUCINDA CAVAL is recipient of the 2007 Whitfield Cook Award for New Writing given every year at New Dramatists for the writing of innovative (as of yet unproduced) drama.
The award has been granted previously to David Greenspan's She Stoops to
Comedy, Lisa D'Amour's The Cataract,
Lucinda Caval will be read as part of Seattle Rep/Hedgebrook's Womens Playwrights Festival September 2007.
