Synopsis:
In the last house in the world, two women live out their days. They could be the famous Gertie and Alice, but they are not necessarily. They still do the things we do–eating, talking, laughing with friends and lovers—until what they know begins to slip away, and all that is left is desire.

Script History:
The play received roundtable reading at the Lark Play Development Center in New York City in March 2016 under Alice Reagan’s direction with cast comprised of Amanda Quaid, Keira Keeley, Christina Pumariega, Hannia Guillen, and dramaturgy by Zac Kline. Additional dramaturgical guidance was also contributed by Jocelyn Clarke. The play receives an Ensemble Studio Theatre Memberfest Reading in New York City at off-site venue Primary Stages Studio B on West 38th Street in May 2016 under Alice Reagan’s direction with cast TBA.
