Script Development:

A section of the play was originally commissioned in 2016 by CenterStage in Baltimore for their 2017 My America: She project. It received a NoPassport workshop at the Lark as part of their PlaySpace program on March 9th and 10th , 2017 in New York City under the direction of Katie Pearl with dramaturgy by Zac Kline. Funding for this workshop was provided by the sponsors listed at *.

Quote from director Rebecca McCutcheon:
“Beyond timely piece of searching and intimate political playwriting. Town Hall tackles so many urgent questions of human relationship – to our environment, to other humans, to democracy, through its focus on 4 women living in the very near future, in a world at once different from but very similar to ours. A beautiful, fragile and powerful piece.”
