About the artist
Caridad Svich (playwright) has received a Guggenheim Fellowship in Drama, an Obie for Lifetime Achievement and the ATCA Primus Prize, among other honors. Key works include 12 OPHELIAS, RED BIKE, IPHIGENIA CRASH LAND FALLS… , THE WAY OF WATER and IN THE TIME OF THE BUTTERFLIES (based on Julia Alvarez’ novel). They have edited several books on performance, among them TRANSMEDIA THEATRE PLAYS and TOWARD A FUTURE THEATRE (Methuen Drama). Feature Film: FUGITIVE DREAMS on Apple TV.
